KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Communication Specialist: Respond to incoming calls promptly and direct callers to the appropriate destination; maintain efficient communication within, to, and from the hotel.
  • Service Champion: Approach all guest and employee encounters with friendliness and professionalism; maintain a warm and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Information Resource: Provide accurate information about the hotel and surrounding area; be familiar with emergency and VIP procedures.
  • Privacy Protector: Maintain guest privacy at all times; handle messages and faxes according to standards.
  • Operations Support: Serve as radio dispatcher; record and relay guest requests; maintain daily activity logs and efficient filing systems.
  • Front Desk Assistant: Assist with front desk procedures, including bucket checks and other duties as assigned by the Front Desk manager.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Strong multitasking skills and initiative.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and deadline management.
  • Ability to assimilate and adjust complex information to meet specific needs.
  • Proficient in basic arithmetic and financial data.
