Our Emergency Response Center is actively searching for multiple ‘Alarm Operator' to join our Ottawa-based Response Center, coordinating the emergency response for a varied portfolio of clients nationwide.
SHIFT AVAILABILITIES:

  • Evenings: Monday - Sunday; 4pm - 12am EST + Weekend availability a must 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Use exceptional customer service skills while remaining calm and focused in stressful, high pressure situations, adapting quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Actively listen to caller to summarize key points of information and enter into computer system
  • Actively seek win-win solutions, at all times maintaining professionalism in cases of healthy conflict and in supporting/managing differences of opinion.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to remain calm and provide direction while responding to an emergency situation.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and be able to follow instructions.
  • Exercise mental flexibility and situational awareness within a team-based environment.
  • Ability to ‘Think on your feet’ and remain calm under pressure
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingualism (French & English) spoken & written
  • Ability to use Microsoft based applications.

  • Customer service, Dispatch, Hospitality and Outgoing Call Centre experience
