Job description

Executive Producer / Showrunner
Full-Time  •  Fort Lauderdale, FL  •  Reports to the Principal (Patrick Bet-David)
Who is Valuetainment?
Valuetainment is a fast-growing media company founded by Patrick Bet-David and built around entrepreneurship, business strategy, current events, politics, and culture, reaching a large audience through podcasts, YouTube, live events, and original programming.  Valuetainment is a multi-show / multi-channel network, not a single program.
About the Role
The Executive Producer / Showrunner (“EP”) is the senior creative and operating leader for the PBD Podcast, Patrick Bet-David’s content (How-To, 1:1 Interviews, etc.) as well as the broad Valuetainment content slate.
This is a go-forward builder role, not a caretaker role. The EP will work with the Director of Studio Operations to ensure the production organization evolves as required to support the growth and success of the PBD Podcast and PBD’s other content.  This includes influencing the hiring and training of the deputy layer, installing scalable systems, and ensuring accountability for the quality, schedule, and budget, while serving as the single bridge between the principal, talent, and guests.
This role exists so the principal can stay in the host/visionary lane. The Executive Producer owns the day-to-day production authority; the principal retains final brand authority, business direction, and on-air leadership; the Director of Studio Operations owns general operations, and the EP is the key customer.
About the Core Content
The flagship is the PBD Podcast, hosted by Patrick Bet-David, is a panel show which airs live every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9:00 AM ET, covering business, entrepreneurship, politics, current events, and sports.  On Tuesday and Thursday the PBD Podcast shifts to a 1:1 format where Patrick conducts 1:1 interviews with political leaders, business executives, and cultural icons, under a simple umbrella: People that matter discussing things that matter.  This weekday podcast is augmented with educational and expository content, including “How Tos” and “Deep Dives” delivered by Patrick from his unique perspective.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Has built and scaled a content operation with multiple concurrent shows, not just run a single hit.
  • Established booking foundation through a library of agents and intermediaries that supports a long-armed personal network.
  • Strong at the bridge role managing high-profile talent, sponsors, and platform relationships.
  • Fuses editorial instinct with hard producer discipline; comfortable as the accountable owner of scripts, schedules, budgets and edits.
  • Fluent in YouTube/Spotify/FAST Channel distribution methodology including clip strategy, and live event production.
  • Aligned with the brand’s business, entrepreneurship, and editorial identity.

Core Responsibilities
  • Own the editorial vision, tone, and brand consistency across the flagship, secondary shows, clips, and live events.
  • Develop show concepts and treatments, push creativity and the ambition to deliver on goals.
  • Run the production calendar so the weekly live cadence and all secondary shows ship on time.
  • Establish the booking strategy and serve as the single point of contact for the principal, guests, sponsors, and platform partners.
  • Work with the Director of Studio Operations to ensure repeatable systems (prep, taping, post, publishing, clips) scale without the principal’s daily involvement.
  • Engage marketing to develop marketing plans and measure the effectiveness of the strategies to raise the profile of the podcasts and the hosts.
  • Develop new and innovative strategies to engage the audience, build up fan communities across platforms and raise awareness of the podcast
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop a paid strategy to support growth benchmarks.
  • Work with the communications team to develop plans for hit shows and key talent.
  • Has an editorial eye and the ability to make recommendations to improve content, structure, and processes.

Job Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience as a podcast producer with the desire to grow.
  • Previous experience in podcast marketing, digital marketing, and growth marketing are essential.
  • Solid understanding of the podcast industry, specifically the nuanced differences of the distribution outlets.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation and writing skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to drive content projects end-to-end.
  • Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be enthusiastic and hold a solutions-oriented mindset

Compensation
Salary + Annual Performance-Based Bonus + LTIP + Phantom Equity, and Comprehensive Benefits Package. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills.
