Responsibilities

The Video Production Specialist plans, films and edits video content for Atria’s family of brands and internal audiences, supporting projects from initial planning through final delivery. This role works closely with the Sr. Video Production Manager and creative partners on studio, digital and on-location productions, while also independently managing assigned video projects.

  • Plan, film and edit video content for Atria’s family of brands and internal audiences.
  • Independently manage video projects from pre-production through final delivery.
  • Support the Sr. Video Production Manager on larger productions, department initiatives and video production planning.
  • Operate cameras and set up lighting, audio and other production equipment for studio and on-location shoots.
  • Collaborate with art directors, copywriters and other creative partners to develop compelling video executions.
  • Support production planning, including schedules, locations, equipment, shot planning, talent and other shoot logistics.
  • Direct and work with on-camera talent, including Atria leaders, residents, employees and professional talent.
  • Film and edit a broad range of content, including brand campaigns, internal communications, interviews, events, blog content and native digital/social content.
  • Edit existing footage and projects to maximize Atria’s library of video content.
  • Capture and create engaging social video content using vertical formats, platform-specific best practices and current social trends to connect with target audiences.
  • Work effectively as a solo video producer or as part of a larger production team or external crew.
  • Provide production expertise and high-skill creative contributions, including filming, lighting, audio, motion graphics/animation, color grading and advanced post-production.
  • Maintain production equipment and organized video assets, project files and footage in accordance with Company standards.
  • Troubleshoot video production and technical issues as needed.
  • Travel for video productions, typically at least two trips per quarter.
  • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) or more years of professional video production experience; degree in Film, Video Production or a related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
  • Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs.
  • Strong working knowledge of cameras, lenses, lighting, audio and production equipment.
  • Proficiency with professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams, stakeholders, talent and external production partners.
  • Understanding of video formats, technical specifications, asset management and post-production workflows.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Will be required to travel up to 15% of the time on behalf of the Company.
  • Travel time is subject to change based on business needs.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Position requires driving responsibilities (may use Company provided vehicle and/or personal vehicle).
  • Must satisfactorily meet and be in compliance with Company motor vehicle policy standards and Travel Policy.
