Position Summary
The Ticket Sales Account Executive plays a vital role in connecting fans with the Indianapolis Indians through personalized ticketing solutions. Focused on generating revenue via season tickets, group packages, and premium suite sales, this role is responsible for both proactive outreach and exceptional customer service. As a core contributor to the sales team, the Account Executive helps drive business growth while creating positive, lasting impressions with clients. This role blends sales acumen with fan-first service to elevate the game-day experience and support the organization's overall success.
Major Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-volume outbound outreach, including calls, emails, and face-to-face interactions to sell season ticket plans, group outings, and premium inventory.
  • Cultivate long-term connections with fans and buyers by understanding their needs, offering tailored solutions, and following up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist group clients with logistics, gameday coordination, and communication to ensure smooth, enjoyable experiences for their guests.
  • Collaborate with the ticketing and marketing teams to develop and implement sales initiatives that drive interest and conversions.
  • Log all customer activity, lead updates, and sales results in the CRM system to maintain strong pipeline tracking and performance transparency.
  • Visit group leaders and season ticket holders on-site to reinforce loyalty and provide a personal touch on game day.
  • Represent the team at external events to generate leads, build relationships, and enhance the visibility of ticket offerings.
  • Act as a point of contact for pre- and post-sale questions, resolving issues with professionalism and urgency to protect the client experience.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sports management, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in ticket sales or customer service, preferably in sports or entertainment.
