Position Overview:
The Event Support Technician will work to support and address technology equipment and tasks, including but not limited to, repair, operation, maintenance of broadcast and engineering infrastructure which supports all aspects of a live television environment in a sports arena and support Tier 1 Help Desk responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support during events at MSE facilities inclusive of nights (2nd shift), weekends, and holidays.
  • Maintain the technical integrity of computer systems, network devices, and broadcast/arena A/V systems.
  • Document all issues, problem solving steps, and resolutions in a ticketing system.
  • Test, maintain, and fabricate cables, adapters, and small part modifications as needed.
  • Image and install operating systems and service packs, as well as security patches and bug fixes.
  • Build, update, and develop Standard Operating Procedure guides used for training, IT operations, and work-flow management purposes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in a live event environment or as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or similar role.
  • Working knowledge of computer software/hardware, Windows/Mac operating systems, mobile devices, and network switches/hubs and cabling.
  • Understanding of broadcast signal flow in a television broadcast environment; inclusive of video routers, video switchers, broadcast cameras, RF infrastructure.
  • Solid grasp of office automation products and computer peripherals including printers and scanners.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, make quick decisions, and respond to the demands of live games and events.
  • Ability to carry up to 50 lbs and work in small environments.

Pay Range: $65-75k USD.
