EVENTS COORDINATOR INTERN Skyhawks Sports | Treasure Valley, ID Local | College Credit | 6–12 hrs/week | Flexible Schedule
This is not a coffee-fetching internship.

Skyhawks Sports is a growing youth sports organization operating across 7+ cities in the Boise metro area. We are building programs, partnerships, and community impact at a fast pace, and we need an Events Coordinator Intern who is ready to take ownership, build real skills, and leave a mark on this organization and this community.
If you are a student in sports management, event planning, business, communications, or a related field and you want an internship where your work actually matters, keep reading.
THE ROLE:
You will work directly with our leadership team to plan, coordinate, and execute events that grow our community presence and support our mission. From community outreach events to sponsorship development to building our ambassador program, you will touch all of it. This role is for someone who is organized, people-oriented, and ready to work independently with strong support behind them.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Plan and coordinate seasonal and annual events across the Treasure Valley.
  • Support community events that connect Skyhawks with local families and organizations.
  • Lead outreach efforts to potential sponsors, community partners, and local businesses.
  • Help build and manage our annual events calendar.
  • Develop and launch a Skyhawks Ambassador Program from the ground up.
  • Support sponsorship and fundraising initiatives that fuel our growth.
  • Build relationships that expand our reach and strengthen our foundation.

YOU'RE OUR PERSON IF:
  • You are currently enrolled in a college or university program and can receive academic credit for this internship.
  • You are highly organized and thrive when managing multiple moving pieces.
  • You are a natural relationship builder, comfortable reaching out to businesses, community leaders, and partners.
  • You are self-driven and can work independently with 6–8 flexible hours per week.
  • You want experience that goes well beyond a classroom or lecture hall.
  • You are local to the Treasure Valley and connected to or passionate about this community.
