SPORTS PROGRAMMING MANAGER

Reports To: General Manager

Position Summary

The Sports Programming Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing adult and adolescent (13+) programming, including leagues, tournaments, clinics, and special events. This role focuses on delivering high-quality programming that drives participation, retention, and revenue.
Core Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and implement sports leagues, tournaments, clinics, and events
  • Manage all aspects of programming operations, including scheduling, setup, equipment, and staffing
  • Create and maintain league schedules, rules, and communication systems
  • Coordinate program logistics to ensure efficient and successful execution

Program Oversight & Performance

  • Monitor registration, attendance, and participation trends
  • Track program performance and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Ensure programs meet quality, safety, and customer experience standards

Staff & Game Operations

  • Recruit, train, and supervise referees, coaches, and program staff
  • Ensure professionalism, fairness, and consistency across all programs
