You will be working onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Carson City, Nevada. • Conduct comprehensive biomechanical evaluations and movement assessments to identify areas of improvement and tailor rehabilitation programs.
• Implement manual therapy techniques and create progressive, evidence-based rehabilitation programs that promote effective healing.
• Design and execute advanced return-to-play testing and sport-specific training protocols to prepare athletes for their sports.
• Collaborate closely with athletic trainers, orthopedic physicians, and performance professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
• Educate athletes on injury prevention strategies, recovery techniques, and long-term mobility plans to ensure sustainable health and performance.

Your focus will be on a diverse range of patients, including young high school athletes, adult weekend warriors, and elite athletes across various sports disciplines. Understanding their specific goals, challenges, and the demands of their sports will be crucial as you develop personalized rehabilitation and performance enhancement strategies.

• A current and valid license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in Nevada or eligibility to obtain one.
• A profound interest in sports medicine, biomechanics, and implementing evidence-based rehabilitation approaches.
• Expertise in manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional performance training.
• Strong communication skills with an athlete-first mindset, enabling effective interactions and trust-building with patients.
• Comfort and proficiency in both rehabilitation settings and return-to-sport practices.

• Certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) or Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in athletic training or rehabilitation within collegiate or professional sports environments.
• Experience with advanced modalities, including blood flow restriction therapy, dry needling, and the use of performance analysis tools such as force plates or motion capture.
