AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Intern to be based in Indianapolis, IN.

This position is expected to begin in Summer 2027.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.
• Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.
• Meets required schedules while producing quality work.
• Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidate must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in business management, Construction Management, Engineering, and/or similar field with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating. Candidate must have completed 1 years of study in their program.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working for a large general contractor.
• Previous relevant internship experience.
• Exposure to other construction-based computer programs.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook), as well as exposure to other construction-based computer programs.

• Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
• Relocation assistance may be available for this position.
• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
