Job description

Crim Sports Corps - Sports Coordinator
Member Responsibilities: Assist program coaches during practices and games in setup and sports instruction Provide outreach to youth and families regarding upcoming sporting practices, games, and special events Supervise program participants during transportation to events Data management in Team Sideline platform Develop and implement a curriculum which includes healthy living, physical fitness, and social emotional learning. Record attendance during practices and games Manage sports equipment at site Act as a mentor for youth participating in sports programming. Administer surveys to participates to evaluate program efficacy Assist in writing grants that support Crim Sports programming Participate in orientation, required meetings and trainings, and days of service. Requirements for Applicants Include: Be at least 18 years of age Able to provide copy of either high school diploma, GED, or college transcript Must successfully pass a comprehensive Criminal History Check, which includes FBI fingerprinting Must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, or lawful permanent resident alien Must be able to provide original copies of Birth Certificate/Passport, Social Security Card, and Drivers License/State ID Benefits Available to the AmeriCorps Member: Living Allowance of $5,875 for the year paid as a bi-weekly stipend. The living allowance is subject to taxes, and is not dependent on the hours served during the bi-weekly period. An education award of up to $1,848 for future educational expenses or repayment of federal student loans - members who are age 55 or older may gift their ed. award to a child or grandchild Federal student loan forbearance while in service, with exemption from paying interest accrued during that time AmeriCorps Childcare Benefits Program provides benefits paid to qualified childcare providers for all or part of the member's childcare costs during their active time of service with AmeriCorps.
