The position will be based within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in the heart of Front Royal, Virginia. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and other medical conditions. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating patients to assess their physical capabilities and limitations in a home care environment.
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans using a combination of hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities to manage pain and enhance mobility.
• Tracking patient progress meticulously through documentation and adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve therapeutic goals.
• Fitting patients for assistive devices to facilitate self-care and ambulation, ensuring they are well-equipped for daily activities.
• Providing education and training to patients, families, and caregivers about effective use of assistive devices and therapeutic techniques.
• Maintaining up-to-date professional knowledge by participating in workshops, reading relevant literature, and networking with other professionals.

Our facility serves a diverse demographic, including children and adults with a wide range of orthopedic conditions. You will work with patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and degenerative diseases. Your efforts will be pivotal in assisting them to regain independence and improve their quality of life through tailored rehabilitation strategies.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and various computer applications.
• A commitment to staying flexible and agile in adapting to patient needs and organizational changes.
