Job description

The focus of this hybrid role is to analyze performance trends, develop budgets and forecasts, build financial models, and translate data into actionable recommendations that support clinic performance, strategic growth, and value-based care initiatives across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor key operational metrics
  • Identify trends that impact clinic performance and recommend practical improvement opportunities
  • Partner with operations leaders to evaluate clinic performance against established benchmarks
  • Support growth initiatives through market analysis, demand forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Develop scorecards and KPI reporting for leadership and clinic managers
  • Provide analytical support for business development initiatives, payer negotiations and employer programs
  • Evaluate the financial and operational impact of strategic initiatives before implementation
  • Support value-based care initiatives through outcomes, utilization, and cost analyses
  • Assist leadership in preparing business cases, ROI analyses, and resource allocation recommendations
  • Maintain operational and financial dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and other business intelligence tools
  • Ensure data integrity across clinical, operational, and financial reporting systems
  • Consolidate data from multiple sources into meaningful executive-level insights
  • Automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and accuracy
  • Collaborate with clinic directors, operations leaders, finance staff, business development, revenue cycle, and executive leadership
  • Serve as a bridge between clinical operations and finance by connecting performance trends to business outcomes
  • Act as an internal consultant to leaders seeking data-driven decision support

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business analytics, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, operational analytics, healthcare analytics, or business intelligence
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data manipulation
  • Experience using Power BI or similar reporting and business intelligence platforms
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication & presentation skills
  • Ability to translate complex and operational data into clear recommendations for financial and non-financial leaders
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and accuracy skillset with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Experience in healthcare, outpatient physical therapy, or multi-site operations preferred
