Golf Operations Intern - This role is for the 2027 Golf SeasonAbout Shanty Creek Resorts

About the Role

The Golf Operations Intern will play an important role in supporting the daily operations of our golf facilities while helping provide an exceptional experience for our guests.

This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in the hospitality, tourism, recreation, and golf industries. The intern will assist with a variety of operational responsibilities, including guest service, event and tournament coordination, golf shop operations, and general facility support.

By working alongside experienced team members, the Golf Operations Intern will gain valuable insight into the business and operational aspects of golf management while developing an understanding of the high level of service expected within a resort environment.

Ultimately, this position is intended to develop the intern's skills and industry knowledge while preparing them for future opportunities in hospitality, recreation, sports management, or golf operations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Hospitality Management, Recreation, Sports Management, or a related field.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably within the hospitality, recreation, sports, or golf industry.

  • Familiarity with golf operations and golf terminology.

Responsibilities
