Associate Director, Integrated Media Planning
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of media planning experience with strong agency background
  • Worked with clients in the travel vertical, ideally with both national and local experience
  • Understanding of the sports landscape and integration opportunities
  • Track record of cultivating and maintaining trusted client relationships
  • Proven leadership ability and experience managing others; a strong desire and capability to grow and develop talent
  • Hands-on media practitioner with the ability to create and execute a full funnel, omnichannel approach to planning
  • Has a firm understanding on how to build and bring to life audience-first paid media strategies & the appropriate tools and inputs to support data-driven recommendations
  • Advanced knowledge of media fundamentals (all channels) with a connect to performance (brand and performance) and an ability to train and educate more junior team members
  • Expert level media math skills
  • Compelling and persuasive written and verbal communicator and presenter. Knows how to reach a compromise when necessary.
  • Strong comfort level with data, analytics, and measurement
  • Experience collaborating with media owners, agency business units and creative agency partners in an integrated manner
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities
The Associate Director, Integrated Media Planning is one of the most exciting and challenging roles in our organization. Working under a Senior Director, the Associate Director leads the day-to-day needs of the business, integrating with the broader OMD teams, creative partners, media owners to meet and exceed our client's objectives.
The Associate Director has a strong appetite for new technology, emerging media, and culture, and always carries a strong point of view. They understand and embrace the passion that the consumer has for our clients' brands. They orchestrate a strategic mix of audience-first solutions as the media landscape and technologies continues to evolve.
  • Serves as key point of contact for client teams to streamline requests and coordinate workstreams
  • Responsible for crafting data-driven, full-funnel paid media strategies and end-to-end experiences that deliver business results based on a deep understanding of the consumer
  • Develops client presentations and templates for POVs and recommendations
  • Coordinates with peers to ensure consistency in ways of working (process, tools & platforms, people)
  • Works in partnership with creative, OMG comms planning and client teams to marry creative and media strategies for an integrated and holistic consumer experience
  • Issues and presents paid media recommendations & POVs to increase efficiencies and effectiveness of media plans as indicated by performance reporting, learning agendas and consumer trends
  • Maintains positive team culture and working environment
  • Manages resources & helps team members prioritize work
  • Accountable for planning teamwork including QAing budgets and media math as relevant

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.
Compensation Range
$90,000-$125,000 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
