Job description

Description Sports Instructor - Athletic Center The Tualatin Hills Athletic Center seeks enthusiastic, responsible sports instructors for preschool and youth programs. We are seeking community and safety-oriented individuals who want to share their passion for recreation with people of all ages. Classes will be held indoors and are open to the community at large (people of all ages, abilities, backgrounds, and interests), so our team needs people who can support individual needs and manage small-group dynamics.

Instructors keep our patrons safe physically by gauging and adjusting programming to meet each patron's ability and skill level, and mentally by encouraging and building a positive community with our patrons. The Tualatin Hills Athletic Center is seeking instructors for the following: Basketball Soccer Preschool Level Sports Introduction (3 to 5 years-old) Volleyball Hours & Classification THPRD is hiring for multiple positions; hours may vary based on program needs. Part-time Variable (PT) employees may work fewer than 1,560 hours per year.

Staff is typically scheduled for 2 to 29 hours per week, between 8:30 am and 8:00 pm, with opportunities on Saturdays and Sundays. Position Instructor II: Must have at least 1 year of experience leading and instructing general classes and be at least 16 years of age. Pay Rate: $21.81 - $24.59 hourly The hiring range for this position is $21.81 to $24.59, based on experience and internal equity
