Overview:
FanGate Solutions is a customer service driven company here to provide live entertainment and sports venues with a professional team of trained event day staff. Our philosophy is to treat our client's fans like our own with a knowledgeable, reliable, and fan friendly team. We are looking for eager, highly motivated, and friendly individuals aspiring to work in the sports and entertainment industry and are willing to travel.
As an Event Intern for FanGate Solutions, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in ticketing, event management, and guest services. Event staff will receive training on: giving top notch customer service to exceed our client's expectations and increase fans overall experience, as well as venue information.
This position is for one race weekend event based outside of Atlanta, GA. Would you like to experience working at a NASCAR event helping thousands of race fans? We provide staffing for EchoPark Speedway's (formally known as Atlanta Motor Speedway) NASCAR race weekend on July 11th and 12th. Team members will be performing the following positions: Ticket Scanning, Traffic Assistance, Access Control, and Golf Cart Shuttle Drivers.
Responsibilities:
  • Aid guests with accurate race day and promotional information
  • Checking credentials to allow race fans access to certain track areas
  • Review event tickets and give accurate information on seating location
  • Scan Tickets at the entry gates to verify valid tickets and accurate attendance
  • Provide problem solving techniques to assist all customer inquiries and concerns
  • Operate Golf Cart to transport ADA guests from parking areas to grandstand and infield locations
  • Represent FanGate Solutions and its clients in a professional and ethical manner
  • Punctual and self-motivated with an attention to detail
  • Communicate all pertinent information with clients and guests
  • Provide & maintain the highest level of customer service to clients and guests
  • Perform other duties & responsibilities as assigned by managers

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Willing to commute to Hampton, GA on the weekend of July 11th-12th
  • Ability to work untraditional hours including weekends and evenings
  • College student majoring in sport management, hospitality tourism management, communications, marketing, or related fields is a plus
  • Eager to start & build a career in sports and live entertainment
  • Ability to deliver exceptional service by anticipating the guests' needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills that complement a team-oriented work ethic
  • Must be neat and presentable at all times
  • Must be 18 years of age or older with at least a high school diploma or GED

Duration and Pay:
Work event on Saturday July 11 and Sunday July 12 outside of Atlanta, GA at EchoPark Speedway (Atlanta Motor Speedway). This is a paid events position for work during actual events at $12/hour.
Available Hours:
Saturday 7/11: 9:00am - 10:00pm
Sunday 7/12: 10:30am - 11:00pm
