Position Summary

The part-time Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00 - $17.00.

Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching.

This position will remain open until September 25, 2026.

Located in the heart of Bismarck, the Bismarck Event Center is the region's premier destination for live entertainment, conventions, meetings, sporting events, and community gatherings. As the largest event and conference facility in western North Dakota, the venue hosts a diverse range of events each year, including concerts, trade shows, banquets, conferences, family shows, and special events. Responsibilities
  • Greeting and welcoming visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and maintain calendars.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable front desk area.
  • Provide basic administrative and clerical support (filing, data entry, photocopying, etc.)
  • Assist with office supply inventory and ordering.
  • Respond to general inquiries and provide accurate information.
  • Support team members and management with special projects as needed.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
