As a Sports Data Coordinator based in the River North area of Chicago, you'll play a key role in live college sports coverage. For the football season, youโ€™ll monitor real-time data from FBS and FCS College Football games and for the basketball season, you'll monitor real-time data for Division 1 Basketball games ensuring accuracy by comparing data collected by our in-venue Data Collectors with live broadcasts and official box scores.

This is a part-time, fast-paced role thatโ€™s perfect for sports enthusiasts who thrive under pressure and want a front-row seat to the action โ€” all while gaining hands-on experience in the sports data and analytics field.

What Youโ€™ll Do

Step into the fast-paced world of live college sports and help power the data behind the game. As a Sports Data Coordinator, you will:

  • Need to be available for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts โ€” because that's when games are being played.

  • Monitor and validate real-time data coming in from college football games, ensuring the information is accurate and up to the second.

  • Use our proprietary web tools to review and edit game lineups, scores, player stats, and event details before, during, and after games.

  • Report live stats as needed, helping ensure our clients get the most accurate updates as the action unfolds.

  • Bring a strong focus on precision, speed, and data integrity to every shift โ€” your accuracy helps fuel the wider sports ecosystem.

  • Communicate and escalate issues quickly and professionally, staying calm under pressure while juggling multiple tasks.

  • Stay sharp with a working knowledge of NCAA rules, teams, and players, helping you recognize and react to key game events.
