Position Summary

This role sits at the intersection of sales support, product commercialization, and product ownership. The person in this role will help shape commercial deals, strengthen the sales cycle, and turn the sports data spine into client-ready insights, narratives, and proof points that help the team win. They will also serve as the product owner for the Sports Partnership Solution, ensuring the roadmap, backlog, and market feedback loop stay aligned to the commercial strategy.

Work you'll do

  • You will help create the commercial motion for ConvergeSPORTS by combining sports industry expertise, product knowledge, and data-backed storytelling. You will support commercial pursuits, sales materials, and market-facing activities that help generate demand, improve conversion, and build the brand.
  • Support RFIs, RFPs, proposals, and pursuit materials by turning product and data-spine insights into clear client value stories.
  • Craft commercial deal materials, pricing narratives, solution concepts, and sales assets that help the team advance opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Translate data, dashboards, performance insights, and product capability into compelling executive-ready messaging for buyers across the sports ecosystem.
  • Own the Sports Partnership Solution, partnering with product, engineering, delivery, and commercial stakeholders to shape roadmap priorities, backlog sequencing, and market feedback.
  • Use deep sports-industry knowledge to identify the right clients, categories, moments, and channels where we should show up through marketing, networking, conferences, and thought leadership.
  • Build relationships and market presence that strengthen the ConvergeSPORTS brand and create qualified commercial opportunities.
  • Monitor the market, capture recurring buyer questions, and turn those signals into better sales motions, product requirements, and commercial positioning.
  • Partner closely with product, sales, marketing, and delivery teams to move opportunities from insight to pitch to close with consistency and discipline.

The successful candidate would possess these skills:

  • Bring a strong point of view on sports, sponsorship, fan engagement, media, and monetization so the business stays relevant, differentiated, and commercially sharp.
  • Commercially sharp, sports-industry fluent, comfortable using insights to shape deals, and confident pitching, presenting, and influencing senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, sports management, marketing, economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sports business, commercial strategy, sales support, product strategy, consulting, media, or adjacent digital businesses.
  • Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with large data sets, dashboards, or analytics outputs and turning them into client-ready narratives or commercial recommendations.
  • Experience supporting commercial deals, pricing discussions, proposals, or executive presentations.
  • Experience in sports sponsorship, media, fan engagement, retail media, adtech, or audience monetization.
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, or similar tools used to build executive-ready materials and analysis.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $105,400-$207,800.
