  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of current events, social media, and industry trends
  • Skills: Ability to collaborate, news writing skills, and attention to detail
  • Travel Ability: Must be open to travel to discover the important stories in your neighborhood and willing to interact with the community
  • Schedule: Ability to work different shifts and be flexible with schedule changes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field, comparable television work experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of general office computer software, newsroom software and basic non-linear editing systems
  • May be required to lift up to five pounds

Working Conditions
