Associate Producer – 98.5 The Sports Hub

98.5 The Sports Hub is seeking an experienced, energetic, and highly motivated Associate Producer to join our award-winning team. This role is ideal for a sports media professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating with on-air talent, and has a passion for creating engaging audio, video, and digital content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with show hosts and producers to develop, research, and prepare compelling show content and topics.
  • Produce and edit audio and video content using industry-standard editing software.
  • Contribute content across the station’s digital and social media platforms.
  • Operate the Wheatstone audio board during live broadcasts.
  • Support live programming and occasionally provide on-air contributions.
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Work closely with talent and staff to ensure smooth execution of daily programming.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience producing audio and/or video content is required.
  • Proficiency operating a Wheatstone audio board.
  • Strong audio and video editing skills; experience with Adobe Audition, WideOrbit, NewsBoss, and DaVinci Resolve is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with on-air talent and production teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of local and national sports, current events, and pop culture.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
