In this position, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining software for the Missile Defense Agency. You will develop complex software applications requiring Artificial Intelligence (AI) based solutions, including supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, expert systems, rule-based assessments, and optimization tools. This position is on-site at 1 st Edge LLC or customer location in Huntsville, AL . This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following tasks: Developing robust optimization engines and deploying them as part of large scale data solutions Developing applications required to resolve resource conflicts and optimize scheduling of resources in a very dynamic operating environment Providing expertise in creating software solutions that leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning based tools for multiple MDA stakeholders Developing AI based tools for the organization and processing of large volumes of complex data Prepare presentations and reports to communicate complex technical concepts to a broad audience Desired job skills include: Experience and skills for the development of business rule driven applications Ability to collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and weapon system program stakeholders to develop requirements and integrate software in MDA development environment Familiarity with Software Engineering Institute/Capability Maturity Model Integration (SEI/CMMI) Level 3 requirements and processes Expertise in mathematical optimization, artificial intelligence, and advanced computing techniques required to streamline data collection, storage, access and distribution processes Knowledge of missile defense simulations, test scenarios, trajectory analysis, weapon systems, sensors and command and control systems Required qualifications: 4 + years of related experience You must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to maintain a secret security clearance Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, mathematics, or related discipline #J-18808-Ljbffr
