Aon is looking for an Operations Specialist I

This position is working on-site from our Fort Wayne, Indiana office

K&K Insurance is a leading provider of specialty coverage in the exciting areas of sports, leisure, recreation, motorsports and events. With a 74-year history of excellence, clients across the US and Canada choose K&K for our unique insurance products and expert claims resolution. As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our K&K Insurance Operations business group within Aon Affinity.

As an Operations Specialist I, you will report directly to the Operations Manager working in the challenging and rewarding segment of insurance. 

This position is accountable for performing all tasks related to processing payments for insureds within the compliance guidelines of Payment Card Industry guidelines.  Duties also include clerical tasks such as mail collection, distribution and preparation, faxing, scanning and account current reconciliation, as well as endorsement entry and refund requests.

Essential Job Functions

  • Contact clients and obtain/validate payment via phone or fax
  • Batch, copy and distribute checks, credit card transactions daily
  • Daily mail functions (collect, distribute and prepare)
  • Account current reconciliation for large broker monthly audits
  • Enter electronically required policyholder information in AuMine such that policy activation can occur.
  • Enter electronically requested changes to policy in the policy administration system (AuMine) to produce policy change endorsement.
  • Apply electronically cash to risk screens during cash-with-app process.
  • Complete electronically policy forms in AuMine, final print policy or endorsement in AuMine, and email.
  • Complete electronically certificates of insurance as requested.
  • Attend all training classes provided as instructed.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong computer keyboarding skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills preferred.
  • Experience in the insurance industry or a related field (2-4 years).

Pay Transparency Law

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $35,000 to $55,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.  The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
