Sales Associate / Pawn & U-Haul Team Member

Steve’s Sporting Goods and Pawn – Farmville, VA

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay: Competitive (based on experience) (If No experience Starting Pay is 13.50)

Overview:

Steve’s Sporting Goods and Pawn is hiring a dependable, customer-focused team member for a fast-paced retail environment. This role includes sales, pawn transactions, and U-Haul rentals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with purchases and general questions
  • Buy, sell, and process pawn transactions (training provided)
  • Stock, price, and organize inventory
  • Operate register and handle cash transactions
  • Assist with U-Haul rentals, returns, and inspections
  • Maintain a clean and professional store environment
  • Follow all applicable policies and regulations

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to multitask
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs
  • Must be 18+
  • Must be legally allowed to Purchase, Sell, Possess, or Transport Firearms (No Felony Convictions, or Domestic Violence Charges)
