Interns typically assist with event management, facility operations, marketing, and customer service tasks. This internship is designed to provide valuable exposure to the daily functions of a sports complex, helping interns develop skills relevant to sports management and recreation industries. It is often a stepping stone for those looking to build a career in sports administration or facility management.

What types of projects or responsibilities can interns expect during a sport complex internship?

They may help coordinate sports leagues or tournaments, support marketing and social media efforts, and perform administrative tasks like scheduling and inventory. Job description

Enterprise Analytics Summer 2027 Internship

Are you a current college student who's curious about how data can improve healthcare? This is a paid, 11-week summer internship on one of our analytics teams - designed for students who are still completing their degree and want real-world experience before heading back to school in the fall.

  • Duration: 11 weeks, starting in May 2027
  • Location: Jacksonville, FL (in-person)
    • Our GuideWell campus in Jacksonville, FL features renovated office buildings surrounding a beautiful pond and walking path. The campus is highlighted by an athletic complex, fitness center, as well as a full-service cafeteria and a coffee shop. Other features include intramural sports, an open office environment, and employee activities. All of this within a culture that embraces flexibility, innovation, and diversity. Bring your unique talents and perspective to help us make a difference!

What to Expect

You'll work in person on our Jacksonville, FL campus alongside a cohort of fellow summer interns and full-time analysts. Over the course of the summer, you'll contribute to a meaningful project with real business impact - building technical skills, learning how healthcare analytics works, and presenting your findings to the team.

What the Summer Includes

  • A real analytics project with healthcare data that you'll complete with the support of a dedicated manager
  • Housing provided to those not local to Jacksonville
  • Team-building activities with other interns and staff
  • Exposure to multiple areas and people across our analytics organizations
  • Access to campus amenities (fitness center, cafeteria, walking paths, intramural sports, and more)

The Kind of Work You'll Do

Past interns have built interactive visualization tools, analyzed member health trends to surface actionable insights, and conducted research that informed business strategy - all using real data in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Who Tends to Thrive Here

  • Curious and eager to learn, even in unfamiliar territory
  • Genuinely interested in healthcare as a space to make a difference
  • Comfortable working in person and collaborating with a team
  • Excited to get hands-on with data, even if still building technical skills

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (not graduating before August 2027)
  • Coursework and/or personal projects that demonstrate a quantitative mindset
  • Exposure to analytical tools or writing code for data manipulation and visualization (e.g., SQL, R, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have and maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or better at the time of application, throughout the application process, and for the duration of the internship program.

Other Details

  • This team does not use tools to automatically review cover letters and resumes. Genuine cover letters in your own words are strongly preferred - we value your voice over a polished template. Further, please only submit thoughtfully considered applications that reflect your actual experiences and interests. Members of our team look forward to reviewing them.
