Replenishment Manager

The Replenishment Managers role is to focus in all three areas of the processing department, Packing/De-casing, Vas, and Replenishment for Night Operations. Their primarily responsible will be to monitor, organize, and successfully implementing safe work procedure for all three work areas, as well as overseeing all other nightly warehouse operations. They will also lead and develop the warehouse team to build accurate and efficient processes to meet company goals, analyze and improve organizational processes, and work to improve quality, productivity and efficiency. They must collaborate and communicate with his/her peers on the leadership team to ensure that critical information is being shared and to determine workloads for completion times of the daily plan. This includes ensuring all areas are in sync with each aspect of their duties to ensure that productivity goals are being met, allowing adequate product flow to their destination and or departments.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $124,000

Schedule: Monday - Friday / 1st Shift *Must be flexible based off business needs*

What You Will Do:

  • Support department and company vision, values, standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Manage staffing levels to ensure productivity levels meet targets/goals set by senior leadership.
  • Contributes to the development of strategies and improves daily performance.
  • Ensure all issues and exceptions are resolved in a timely manner. Schedules and conducts meetings to review performance.
  • To make certain that all employees are trained to complete assigned tasks as assigned.
  • Ability to develop and implement new DC processes.
  • Coordinate with the day shift department heads to accommodate any outstanding work.
  • Provide daily progress reports for VP of Operations.
  • Overseeing that work section are completing all shipping requirements for case movement and appointment times
  • Ensuring all maintenance requirements are met to allow minimal down time of nightly operations
  • Reinforce company goals, objectives, and policies, procedures at the DC / Corporate level as they relate to the Replenishment Department.
  • Monitor, maintain and operate within Replenishment's Department budget.
  • Conduct all new employee orientation walk-throughs, training, and paperwork.
  • Facilitate daily, weekly, monthly meetings with department, and other members of management.
  • Conduct performance appraisals offering suggestions and / or insight which will be reviewed by VP of Operations and Human Resources.
  • Maintain a safe work environment for employees.
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality with all information discussed in management staff meetings.
  • Monitor daily performance metrics, identify and improve area or areas of deficiency.
  • Assures replenishment productivity meets DC/company standards, maintaining service levels.
  • Ensures that product is handled properly to minimize damage and preserve quality.
  • Monitor and maintain department budgets by maximizing labor utilization, minimizing labor/supply expenses.
  • Conducts department surveys to assess training needs associated with department.
  • Participates in plan design and existing plan program enhancements.
  • Evaluates and tracks training effectiveness making recommends and implementing improvements accordingly.
  • Interaction with company assigned staffing services regarding counseling, requisitions, orientation, procedure training, safety issues/concerns, email correspondence, termination of assignments.
  • Ability to measure skill levels of subordinates with the adherence to standards through performance appraisals.
  • Utilize progressive coaching and counseling concepts according to established policies and procedures to provide continuous feedback on performance, increasing employee retention and improving employee relations.
  • Will keep senior management and Human Resources Director informed/up-to-date on all employee relation issues.
  • Conducts accident investigations per DC guidelines.
  • Ensures that all warehouse equipment sufficient equipment is on hand and operational to handle daily workloads.
  • Conduct a variety of Safety, Quality, Shrink and Operational audits and encouraging employees to have a sense of responsibility and ownership.
  • Other duties will include performing analysis of current procedures and recommending changes and improvements, developing documentation of processes and procedures.
  • Will perform any other duties as requested.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related field required
  • 5-8 years management experience in a distribution environment
