Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in the Security Incident Response (SIR) module. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing security workflows and automation within the ServiceNow platform to enhance incident detection, response, and remediation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions within the ServiceNow SIR (Security Incident Response) module to support security operations and incident response.
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, business rules, UI policies, and scripts.
  • Integrate ServiceNow SIR with SIEM tools, threat intelligence platforms, and other security systems.
  • Automate security incident lifecycle processes, including detection, triage, investigation, containment, and remediation.
  • Collaborate with security, IT, and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain REST/SOAP APIs for integrations and data exchange.
  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
  • Support testing, deployment, and maintenance of ServiceNow solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow SIR implementations.
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, workflows, and integrations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4–8 years of experience in ServiceNow development.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Security Incident Response (SIR) module.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP, MID Server).
  • Understanding of security concepts, incident response processes, and threat management.
  • Experience working with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, or similar).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS-SIR preferred).
  • Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, GRC, or SecOps.
  • Knowledge of cloud security and enterprise security frameworks.
