Observability Engineer Job Description
Must Have
Experience working in Observability DevOps as an administrator
Deep knowledge of Splunk Enterprise Indexers search heads forwarders Managers etc administration and management in large distributed clustered environment
Strong handson experience working on Linux Kubernetes
Knowledge on Dynatrace Grafana Prometheus Cribl Rancher OpenSearch Open Telemetry
Strong production support background with ITIL knowledge
Good to Have
Experience using splunk ITSI splunk DBConnect
Experience on any one of the cloud infrastructures GCPAzureAWS is a plus
Must have strong scripting skills proficiency in Shell or Python
Experience in configuration management and automation tools proficiency in Ansible
Other Skills
Proficient in developing and maintaining technical documentation running books and procedures
A strong ownership attitude and a track record of taking responsibility for problems and pushing through to resolution
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
