Job description

Job Summary:
UMRF Ventures provides meaningful professional experiences for students through hands-on work and leadership development. The DevOps Analyst will focus on improving system visibility, deploying applications, and automating workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Improve system and application visibility through advanced monitoring, metrics, and log analytics, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Code configurations and deploy software engineering (SWE) team applications to monitoring platforms.
• Design and optimize enterprise tools to reduce resource usage.
• Develop visualization tools to provide insight into enterprise resource usage.
• Create documentation for Splunk knowledge base and internal processes.
• Write and execute scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Communicate development goals and workflow progress with client, and internal teams.
• Continuously improve processes and tools to ensure high availability and performance
• Document results and implement solutions
• Troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with client teams.
• Attend team meetings and client meetings to share updates and align goals and strategies.
• Adhere to UMRFV guidelines and policies.
• Additional responsibilities are defined between the Technical Supervisor and the employee depending on company needs and the employee’s availability
