Role: NOC Analyst

Location: Houston, TX

Job Description:

Must Have Skills (Top 3 technical skills only)*
Certification in Asset Health Monitoring platforms (Solarwinds, Splunk>, AppDynamics, or related) preferred
Configuration and Operational Management Experience with PtP / PtMP Radio / 2.4 / 5GHz Mesh Radio Systems (Tropos/Redline/Cambium/Cisco)

Top 3 responsibilities you would expect the subcon to shoulder and execute*:
Provides Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to support teams to resolve priority issues, implement complex changes or to complete complex requests

Provides Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to support projects. Guides and coaches Technology Technicians across the sub function

Provides back up coverage to the Supervisor during times of absence

Nice to have skills (Top 2 only)
Previous experience in operational support of mission critical services in large scale environments,
Provide 24x7 (as required) technical support and response to all support queries internal and external, responsible for managing incidents to resolution

Desired years of experience* :
At least 5 years relevant post-qualification experience (i.e. preferably in petroleum / mining industry with IT Operational experience)

Previous experience in operational support of mission critical services in large scale environments,
Infrastructure/network management experience in IT and / or process control in a large and remote environment
Configuration and Operational Management Experience with PtP / PtMP Radio / 2.4 / 5GHz Mesh Radio Systems (Tropos/Redline/Cambium/Cisco)

Familiarity of ServiceNow (or familiarity with ITSM systems) and SAP
Knowledge, use and configuration of Asset Health Monitoring Tools (AppDynamics, Solarwinds, SCOM, Splunk>)
Proven record of accomplishment in delivery of support services.
Problem solving and understanding of root cause analysis techniques
Proven track record in delivery of support services

Education/ Certifications (Required) :
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business or related discipline - OR related discipline or equivalent IT/OT experience

ITIL Certification preferred but not essential
Certification in Asset Health Monitoring platforms (Solarwinds, Splunk>, AppDynamics, or related) preferred but not essential
