  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to establish comprehensive care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on strategies to encourage progress outside of therapy sessions.
  • Participate in inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions as needed, ensuring seamless continuity of care along the treatment continuum.
  • Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.

  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of starting employment.
Skills
  • Expertise in evidence-based approaches for treating individuals of all ages with a deep understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, fostering connections with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team.
  • Adept at modifying therapeutic techniques to cater to various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Strong clinical decision-making and analytical skills.
  • Competent in utilizing electronic medical records and adhering to documentation requirements.
Benefits
  • Attractive compensation reflective of experience and expertise.
  • Flexible work schedules to enable an optimal work-life harmony while handling varied caseloads.
  • Opportunities for specialization in pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) along with holiday compensation.
