Job description

Minister of Spiritual Formation - Kingswood Church

7/23/2026

Help Build a Community Where Faith Grows Across Every Generation

Kingswood Church is looking for a passionate, relational, and visionary Minister of Spiritual Formation to help shape the next chapter of our ministry. This is more than a childrenโ€™s ministry position. More than a youth ministry position. More than an education position.

Weโ€™re looking for someone who believes spiritual formation is a lifelong journeyโ€”and who is excited about helping children, students, families, adults, and older adults grow into deeper disciples of Jesus Christ.

Located in Dunwoody, Georgia, just north of Atlanta, Kingswood is a vibrant United Methodist congregation with a heart for worship, community, mission, and making disciples. We are intentionally investing in our future by creating two new full-time ministry roles that will help us strengthen and expand our ministries for years to come.

As our Minister of Spiritual Formation, you willโ€ฆ

  • Lead ministries for children, youth, and families while helping strengthen discipleship opportunities for every generation.
  • Recruit, equip, and encourage volunteers who love serving others.
  • Partner with our Senior Pastor and ministry staff to create engaging opportunities for spiritual growth.
  • Develop outreach that connects our church with our surrounding community.
  • Help create an environment where people feel welcomed, known, valued, and invited into a deeper relationship with Christ.

Weโ€™re looking for someone who isโ€ฆ

  • Passionate about helping people grow in their faith.
  • An energetic relationship builder who enjoys connecting with children, students, parents, and volunteers.
  • Organized, creative, and able to turn ideas into meaningful ministry.
  • Comfortable leading teams while empowering others to serve.
  • Excited about building somethingโ€”not simply maintaining existing programs.

If you are looking for a place where your leadership can make a lasting difference, weโ€™d love to meet you.
