Job description

✨ An excellent opportunity for a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible OB/GYN to join a well-established, collaborative women’s health practice in beautiful Brattleboro, VT. Enjoy a supportive environment, modern facilities, and a strong work-life balance while providing full-spectrum care to the community.


Position Highlights
  • Provide full-spectrum Obstetrics & Gynecology care to a diverse patient population

  • Manage gynecologic consults from primary care providers and midwives

  • Perform office-based gynecologic procedures

  • Access to three modern operating rooms

  • Perform minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic surgeries

  • Work 3–4 clinic days per week

  • See approximately 12–14 patients per day

  • Average 3 dedicated OR days per month

  • Provide physician support for midwife-led obstetric care

  • Participate in shared home call (1:4 rotation)


Team & Practice Environment
  • Work alongside physicians, certified nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, nurses, and medical assistants

  • Stable and respected practice with very low provider turnover

  • Birth center offering:

    • VBACs

    • Water births

    • Nitrous oxide

    • 24-hour epidural services

  • Evidence-based care in a physician-supportive environment


Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $280,000 – $360,000 annually (based on experience)

Requirements
  • MD or DO

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN

  • Completion of accredited OB/GYN residency (U.S. or Canada)

  • Clean malpractice history

  • Active Vermont license (or ability to obtain before start)

  • Candidates commuting more than 1 hour will not be considered

  • Not open to Locum or Locum-to-Perm

  • Candidate must commit to this role exclusively
