Director of Nursing Services (DNS) – Skilled Nursing

Location:  Lakeport, CA

Full Spectrum Search Group is a full-service healthcare recruiting agency specializing in post-acute leadership and healthcare administration. We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing Services (DNS) for a skilled nursing facility in Lakeport, California.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a hands-on nursing leader who is ready to strengthen clinical operations, rebuild nursing culture, develop staff, and make a meaningful impact on the overall performance of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and oversight of nursing operations within the facility
  • Maintain a strong presence on the nursing floor and lead by example
  • Lead, mentor, develop, and retain nursing staff across all departments
  • Build a cohesive nursing team and establish a culture of accountability and teamwork
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality resident care and positive clinical outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
  • Drive survey readiness, quality assurance, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Identify and address clinical, documentation, and process gaps

Qualifications

  • Active California RN license or eligibility for California licensure

  • Strong understanding of California skilled nursing regulations and the survey process
