Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, overtime and occasional weekends as needed

Pay Range: $25.00 to $32.00 an hour, based on experience and licensing, plus commission and performance bonus

About the Role

As a Plumber with Spectrum AC, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating systems. This role combines hands-on technical work with customer interaction and leadership, including training and supporting apprentices.

You will work independently on service and repair calls while ensuring all work meets local codes, safety standards, and company expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems, including water lines, drainage, and heating systems
  • Diagnose plumbing issues and perform repairs, including clearing clogged waste lines
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and schematics
  • Ensure all work meets applicable plumbing codes and environmental regulations
  • Assemble, install, and test valves, fittings, and piping systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and system testing
  • Communicate professionally with customers and provide equipment recommendations
  • Track materials, complete job documentation, and maintain daily job logs
  • Lead and support apprentices as assigned
  • Safely operate company vehicles and maintain tools and equipment

What We're Looking For

  • Valid driver's license with ian nsurable driving record
  • Service plumbing experience in a residential or commercial environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions
  • Backflow certification is a plus, but not required
  • Journeyman license is a plus, but not required
