Position Summary:

The Custodian -2nd Shift cleans the company facility and provides a sanitary, comfortable work environment.

Ideal candidate:

  • Authorized to work in United States without requiring sponsorship
  • Ability to work 2nd Shift hours 2:30pm-11:00pm CST Monday-Friday)
  • Ability to work weekends/overtime if required 

Pay Rate: $15.00-$17.00/hour plus $2.00 shift differential

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintains the facility in sanitary condition through washing, cleaning, and replacement of equipment and furnishings 
  • Applies cleaning solutions and chemicals to surfaces 
  • Empties trash containers and disposes of debris appropriately 
  • Sweeps and vacuums floors 
  • Cleans stains from carpets and upholstery 
  • Damp-dusts furniture, light fixtures, window sills, and other surfaces 
  • Cleans bathrooms, including toilets, wash basins, and mirrors 
  • Identifies and reports needed repairs 
  • Washes windows 
  • Replenishes supplies, such as cafeteria and bathroom items 
  • Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku's policies and procedures.
  • Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction 
QualificationsEducation and Experience Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Knowledge of safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Great communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
