**Family Medicine Medicine opening in TN**
Located in Sweetwater
45m to Knoxville; 184m to Nashville
Full-time permanent
Summary of Position & Schedule
Currently seeking a qualified Family medicine physician interested in practicing a full-spectrum of family medicine with the opportunity to work with medical students from Lincoln Memorial University - DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Typically, each physician can accept 3-4 students per year with the flexibility of more involvement if preferred.
The incoming physician will work with other independent, private physicians that include 4 physicians.
The providers' schedule includes making rounds followed by seeing patients in the clinic. The office is located adjacent to the hospital and will have a minimum of 3 exam rooms with the space to add more when needed. On average, the physicians round on 3-6 inpatients and see 20-25 patients per day in the office.
Overall, patient volumes range from 20 to 25 patients per day with a 3-6 inpatient census. Call responsibilities include weekday practice call and unassigned ER patients (approximately 6 days per month). The EMR system utilized for all patient documentation is CPSI/Evident.
The hospital will provide all nursing staff, office space, ancillary services, etc. as per the existing contract.
Candidate Specifications
Board-certified (or eligible if completing training) internal medicine
MD or DO; American Medical Graduates and International Medical Graduates with excellent communication skills will be considered
Candidates of all experience levels will be considered.
Financial Package
The incoming physicians will join with a guaranteed annual salary for three years of $240,000.
-$240,000 annual guarantee for three years
-85% of the net collections of the physician revenue will go to the provider after guarantee or once they exceed the guarantee
-15% of net collections are for overhead which includes everything except malpractice
-Sign on Bonus
-Relocation Bonus
-Health insurance can be purchased from the hospital benefits (Medical, Vision, Dental)
Additional opportunities for income include:
-Supplemental Income with skilled nursing facilities (director)
-Accepting medical students from LMU-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine
-Over-reading hospital EKG and ECHO (will go towards the guarantee)
