Job description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Registered Nurse - Mental Health at Naval Medical Center San Diego in California.  This position offers:

  • Full time, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0600-1800.
  • Shifts provided on Monday through Friday will normally be scheduled for an 8.5-to-9-hour period, to include an uncompensated 30-to-60-minute lunch break, respectively.
  • No Federal Holidays or Weekends
  • Opportunity to care for our Military men and women
  • Salary to be determined but in the range of $35-$40.

The RN Mental Health position requires:

  • Possess a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or an Associate Degree in Nursing or a Diploma from a Nursing Program accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

  • Possess a minimum of 1 year outpatient experience as an ambulatory care nurse within the last 2 years, with experience providing services in psychiatric nursing, behavioral health and/or wellness counseling.
  • Graduate from a college or university accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
  • Current, full, active and unrestricted license to practice as a clinic nurse in any state, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands.
