Job description

Customer Service Rep

The Customer Service Rep is responsible for the following duties:

  • Serve as a primary customer contact for shipment-related inquiries.
  • Track freight from pickup through delivery and provide proactive updates.
  • Process and monitor EDI transactions accurately and timely.
  • Identify and communicate service issues, delays, or risks immediately.
  • Coordinate with dispatch, drivers, and operations to resolve issues.
  • Monitor and report on-time pickups and delivery performance.
  • Ensure that white glove delivery service procedures are being met.
  • Track shipment revenue and support operational reporting.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support for assigned freight and customers.
  • Prepare quarterly business reviews.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Strong interpersonal skills in regards to interface with employees and client.
  2. A strong commitment to safety, care, and concerns of our employees.
  3. Strong knowledge of FMCSR and DOT requirements
  4. Advanced computer skills- i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
