Job description

SUMMARY

Join a growing distribution organization in a hands-on Human Resources support role with exposure to recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and HR administration. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a bilingual HR professional who enjoys supporting employees and operations while building broad HR experience in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support day-to-day HR activities including onboarding, employee changes, terminations, data entry, reporting, filing, and general administration.

• Assist employees and operational leaders with HR-related questions while providing responsive, professional service.

• Coordinate recruiting activities such as candidate sourcing, job postings, and interview scheduling.

• Provide support with workers’ compensation, leave administration, benefits administration, and open enrollment.

• Process and maintain accurate employee information and HR records while protecting confidential information.

• Provide backup support to HR team members and assist with special projects or additional HR priorities as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2+ years of Human Resources experience required; 3 years preferred.

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now required; approximately 2 years strongly preferred.

• Working knowledge of HR compliance requirements, including FMLA, COBRA, and FLSA.

• Experience supporting employee benefits and open enrollment processes.

• Prior recruiting support and candidate sourcing experience.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills with excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.

• Professional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
