Summary
We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and data-driven Chemical Materials & Technology Engineer to join our research and development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in analytical chemistry, laboratory sciences, and electrochemical methods, along with hands-on experience in product development, quality control, and manufacturing support.
This individual will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and bring a passion for problem-solving, experimental design, and continuous improvement. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative product development while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, GLP, and CGMP standards.
Responsibilities
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation including ICP-OES, FTIR, TGA, and related analytical equipment
  • Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods to support product testing and quality assurance
  • Design and execute experiments using spectroscopy, chromatography (GC/HPLC), and wet chemistry techniques
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to support research, product development, and manufacturing processes
  • Manage and maintain laboratory data in LIMS systems, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance
  • Perform routine and non-routine quality control testing to ensure products meet regulatory and internal specifications
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, materials, and product development teams to troubleshoot and improve processes
  • Support product development initiatives by providing technical insight, experimental results, and recommendations
  • Ensure all laboratory activities comply with GLP, CGMP, ISO 9001, and safety standards
  • Document experimental procedures, methodologies, and findings through clear and detailed technical reports
  • Stay current with advancements in analytical chemistry techniques and technologies
  • Present findings, conclusions, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline
  • Proven experience in analytical chemistry, laboratory testing, or quality control within a manufacturing or R&D environment
  • Strong working knowledge of analytical instrumentation and techniques, including spectroscopy and chromatography
  • Experience with wet chemistry methods and electrochemical analysis
  • Familiarity with GLP, CGMP, ISO 9001 standards, and laboratory safety practices
  • Hands-on experience with LIMS or other laboratory data management systems
  • Solid understanding of scientific research methodologies and product development processes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation and presentations

Salary Range: 75,000 to 80,000
