Job Summary
Adjunct faculty members facilitate students' achievement of course objectives and prepare college students to matriculate through the undergraduate program.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provide online and face-to-face course delivery and instruction
  2. Prepare and submit syllabi, grades, and other required course documentation in a timely manner
  3. Communicate course requirements and expectations to students
  4. Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum QualificationsMaster's degree in Philosophy from an accredited university or Master's degree and 18 hours of graduate course work in Philosophy
Ability to teach effectively (both online and in traditional settings) at the university level
Background check clearance
Knowledge, Skills, andAbilities
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office software

Preferred QualificationsPh.D. in Philosophy
Experience with online course delivery and instruction
Experience with Canvas technology
