Job Title: Custodial Team Lead
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Hours: 7:30-3:30, Monday - Friday
Pay: $20.25/hr.

The Custodial Team Lead coordinates and directs operations to fulfill contractual responsibilities, including directly supervising one team and performing quality control at additional contract sites. Responsible for ensuring quality control and care of equipment. Must be highly organized and experienced in managing multiple crews simultaneously. Must be familiar with methods, materials, and equipment used in grounds, production, and custodial work.
What you will do:
  • Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment, including complying with OSHA, state/local, federal, and company regulations
  • Supervise employees and help delegate operations schedule to ensure proper coverage
  • Evaluates the performance of personnel and inspects assigned areas to ensure proper work performance. This requires hands-on support and the ability to perform work when necessary.
  • Find and define problems, resolve issues, and use these in making appropriate recommendations to management, staff, and/or customer contact to exercise continuous quality improvement and exceed customer expectations.
  • Tracks and evaluates purchasing activities, supply and equipment usage, and repairs.
  • Ensures appropriate labeling, dilution, and storage requirements are met by the company, customer, and OSHA standards.
  • On-the-job training for staff/employees on job-specific tasks.
  • Participates in company and customer training, ensuring effective communication and distribution of information to supervisors, customers, and employees.
  • Ensures customer standards are met.
  • Assists personnel in ensuring all tasks are completed promptly.
  • Inspects and evaluates the physical condition of the establishment for program compliance, i.e., safety, quality, and service.
  • Audits and maintains equipment.
  • Implements and communicates organization policies and goals to direct reports.
What youโ€™ll need to succeed:
  • Bachelor's preferred but not required.
  • Three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in managing small crews.
  • This position requires driving as part of the job duties.
  • Must have a valid driverโ€™s license and be able to pass a Criminal Background Check.
