Normal Work Schedule: Varies; Monday - Friday 4:00am to 12:30pm, 7:00am to 3:30pm, 3:30pm to 12:00am
Job Summary: The Custodial Team Lead provides guidance and leadership to custodians in the performance of day-to-day duties. Performs routine manual work in housekeeping and cleaning of interior spaces and immediate exterior areas. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, polishes and dusts furniture, and cleans restrooms, windows, blinds, mirrors, etc. in buildings across campus.
Additional Department Summary: Must drive from site to site. Must have ability to complete all tasks on custodian's building task lists, as well as all general cleaning. Provides quality customer service. Demonstrates caring behavior by utilizing positive interpersonal skills. Provides helpful and friendly assistance. Responds to inquiries in a timely manner.
Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of custodial experience. Must maintain confidentiality.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Final candidates must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications: Some supervisory/work leadership experience.
