Schedule: Monday-Sunday 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
Overview
KidZania is looking for you to join our team! What is KidZania? KidZania is a dynamic city built to inspire, educate, and empower kids, including toddlers to teens, through immersive learning experiences!
KidZania Janitorial team members are responsible for creating a welcoming environment for guests and staff by maintaining cleanliness within the park facility, office spaces, and around the perimeter of the facility. These duties are integral to maintain the health and safety of personnel and guests. Attention to detail, compliance with general safety guidelines, and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential to being successful in the role.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors and stairs.
  • Sanitation Routines.
  • Emptying trash cans.
  • Removing and disposing of hazards in the park and the office.
  • Cleaning, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces, including desks, countertops, chairs, walls, and restrooms.
  • Cleaning and restocking restrooms; restocking cleaning supplies.
  • Routine heavy deep cleaning.
  • Assisting with spills and removing trip, slip or fall hazards.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding guest experiences through cleanliness and attention to detail.
  • Create a clean and safe environment for children and families, as well as personnel.
  • Show positivity, teamwork, patience, and care.
  • Be punctual and reliable.
  • Communicate effectively with teammates, management, and when necessary with parents, teachers, and chaperones.
  • Maintain professionalism and uphold KidZania’s values in daily work.
Schedule
  • Schedule Options: Monday - Friday 10:00 am–8:00 pm; OR Weekends: Friday-Sunday 10:00 am–8:00 pm.
  • Part-time: 25-35 hours per week; or minimum 3 days per week
  • Hours may vary based on group bookings, private events, holidays, and business needs.
  • Option to pick up additional hours up to 40hrs per week

Physical Requirements
  • Will regularly work with cleaning materials and some chemical agents.
  • Stand for long periods, walk throughout the facility.
  • Regularly kneel, squat, crawl, climb, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in loud, crowded spaces with frequent guest interaction.
Eligibility
  • Minimum age: 16 years.
  • Background check required for employees 18+.
