This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading team that provides environmental solutions to the public and private sectors throughout the State of Maryland.

Job Description:

Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for an Administrative Specialist, Senior Administrative Specialist, or Lead Administrative Specialist at our Montgomery County Yardwaste Facility located in Dickerson, MD. This position provides administrative support to the assigned facility and ensures the accuracy of correspondence and data flow throughout the Group and the Agency.

Estimated Pay Range:

Administrative Specialist: $45,666.23 - $62,791.65

Senior Administrative Specialist: $50,233.92 - $69,070.88

Lead Administrative Specialist: $60,782.49 - $83,575.93

Minimum Requirements:

Classification Levels:

  • Administrative Specialist - three years of administrative or professional experience
  • Senior Administrative Specialist - five years of administrative or professional experience
  • Lead Administrative Specialist - seven years of administrative or professional experience

Note: Candidates may substitute completion of administrative, business management or financial courses for up to one (1) year of the required experience.

This position will be open until filled.

Any offer of employment will be contingent upon successfully completing required pre-employment screens, to include full background check, drug & alcohol screening, and position appropriate physical.
