Virtual Training Specialist
Fort Bragg, NC

Summary:
ATS is looking for a qualified Virtual Training Specialist to support the Special Operations Mission Training Center Facility at Fort Bragg, NC.
Job Duties:
  • Plan and deliver virtual training events in support of Special Operations Forces (SOF) collective training, utilizing simulation systems to replicate combat operations and mission command tasks at SOMTC.
  • Serve as a certified instructor for virtual simulation platforms, developing lesson plans, facilitating training iterations, and coaching participants on tactics, techniques, and procedures in a virtual environment.
  • Integrate combat arms expertise into scenario execution, reinforcing maneuver, fires integration, and small-unit tactics within simulation-based training events.
  • Support scenario development and exercise execution by incorporating close air support (CAS) and call-for-fire procedures, enhancing realism and ensuring alignment with current operational standards and safety protocols.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum Education Requirement: Associate degree. Two years' experience as a Special Operations Forces or closely related military training/assignment may substitute for academic degree.
  • Special Skills/Qualifications Required: Military Instructor Training Course or civilian equivalent required. Instructor experience using virtual simulations desired. Military Combat Arms background.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of emergency close air support procedures and with artillery and mortar call for fire procedures desired.
