Thornberry Creek at Oneida is the official course of the Green Bay Packers and one of Wisconsin’s premier golf destinations. Located in Green Bay, WI, the property features two stunning courses, a welcoming clubhouse, and exceptional event spaces. As a top venue for weddings, golf outings, corporate gatherings, and other special events, Thornberry Creek is known for its outstanding hospitality and high-quality service. Position Summary

Thornberry Creek at Oneida is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Banquet Bartender to provide exceptional beverage service at weddings, golf outings, corporate events, and other special occasions. The ideal candidate is outgoing, professional, and passionate about delivering an outstanding guest experience in a fun and fast-paced event setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with event specifications and company standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout the event.
  • Follow all state and local alcohol service laws, including checking guest identification and practicing responsible service.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely when required.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down bar stations before and after events.
  • Monitor guest behavior and manage alcohol consumption to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
  • Work collaboratively with banquet staff, event coordinators, and management to ensure smooth event operations.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Must be at least 18 years old (21+ preferred) to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Previous bartending or banquet service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of cocktail preparation, beer, wine, and responsible beverage service.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain required alcohol service certification.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
