Job description

Spaulding has a wonderful opportunity for a motivated, energetic Residential House Manager to supervise, coach and train with staff in our residential cottages!

Spaulding Academy & Family Services is a leading provider of educational, residential, therapeutic and community based programs and services for families, and children and youth with neurological, emotional, behavioral, learning or developmental challenges, and those who have experienced significant trauma, abuse or neglect. We are in Northfield, NH and we welcome boys and girls from ages 4 to 21 from around the state of New Hampshire and beyond.

Requirements for the House Manager include:

  • Supervisory experience, essential for managing a diverse population of staff and students
  • BS/BA Degree in Human Service (or a related field) and five (5) years’ experience in human services in a residential setting
  • Or in lieu of a BS/BA Degree, we will consider candidates with an Associate's Degree in Human Services and seven (7) years related experience, along with in-service and additional training

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Day-to-day operations of one of our residential houses
  • Accountability for training and direct supervision to staff
  • Participation in student management that will include implementing behavioral/cognitive training and programming and crisis management
  • Responsible for staff payroll
  • Provide input to the Residential Program Manager with budget development
