Position Summary

The Product Manager - Spatial Biology Antibodies is responsible for defining and executing the antibody portfolio strategy supporting multiplex immunofluorescence (mIF) and spatial biology workflows.

This role owns how antibodies enable high-plex tissue imaging experiments, including panel compatibility, conjugation formats, and platform integration readiness

As the product champion for Spatial biology applications, this individual translates customer needs, scientific trends, and platforms requirements into portfolio strategy, innovation priorities, and lifecycle decisions that drive adoption and differentiation of the standalone antibody portfolio.

This role partners closely with R&D, Spatial Biology platform teams, Applications, and Digital Product Management to ensure antibodies are spatial-ready, panel-compatible, and positioned to win at the customer decision point.

This position reports to the Senior Product Manager and is based on-site in Minneapolis, MN.

Key Responsibilities

Franchise & Portfolio Strategy

  • Own the Spatial Biology antibody portfolio strategy across short-, mid-, and long-term horizons.
  • Define where and how standalone antibodies win across spatial biology, mIF, and tissue imaging workflows.
  • Translate strategy into portfolio roadmaps, investment priorities, and lifecycle management decisions.
  • Lead SKU prioritization, recombinant conversion targeting, and portfolio rationalization aligned to spatial biology demand.

Workflow & Platform Integration Leadership

  • Define requirements and validation standards for antibodies to be compatible with multiplex and spatial workflows. Partner with R&D to define antibody NPI priorities.
  • Build business cases supporting development of spatial-ready antibody formats (e.g., carrier-free, directly conjugated formats).
  • Partner with internal spatial platform teams and external partners to embed antibodies into validated panels and workflows.

Market, Customer & Competitive Leadership

  • Serve as the voice of the customer through VOC, KOL engagement, and spatial workflow research.
  • Maintain competitive intelligence across multiplex IF, spatial proteomics, and tissue imaging antibody providers.
  • Identify unmet needs in biomarker coverage, panel composition, and spatial-ready formats.

Go-To-Market & Commercial Execution

  • Own Spatial Biology Antibody portfolio GTM success across all channels (digital, direct sales, partners).
  • Define pricing strategy, value positioning, and promotional priorities aligned to spatial biology customer decision drivers.
  • Support customer adoption through application notes, panel guidance, and workflow storytelling.

Portfolio Performance & Lifecycle Management

  • Define KPIs for portfolio performance across spatial antibody categories.
  • Track revenue growth, panel attachment, conjugate adoption, and target penetration.
  • Identify portfolio gaps and lead corrective action.
  • Communicate performance, risks, and opportunities to leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Life Sciences (biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related field). Advanced degree (PhD, MBA) highly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of product management experience in life science reagents or consumables is essential.
  • Direct experience in research antibodies, spatial biology, imaging, IF, or proteomics workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into differentiated product solutions.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong analytical capability, including use of data visualization and business intelligence tools.
  • Experience working with global teams and customers.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% (domestic and international).
